This title is courtesy of “Typo” (www.typo.com). It is written on the notepad I am using to handwrite this writing. The quote goes on to say, “Take time for yourself”. It is currently the 27th of August 2024, as I commence these notes.
Having taken a break from my writings, I have had the opportunity to be doing other things apart from all family history things but…
So, what have I been doing these past couple of months? A number of things, actually. Oh yes, there is a list! The following are just a couple of things from it.
- Astrology – The mystical but ancient wisdom from the Stars.
- Learning – Continuing studies mostly via FutureLearn. (Just a few from my list, in particular.) (www.futurelearn.com).
- Cyber Security – everyone needs to protect themselves from scammers and the like.
- Writing an online course (Maybe a hint!)
- DNA (again) – When I started out on this challenge, I messed up big time, so reset – start again.
- Research – It never ends just like learning. If you are not learning, you are not progressing.
- Reading – Books – love books. (The real thing – not online), magazines, newsletters and blogs.
As you can tell, a busy time. There are days when I don’t do anything! And, that’s okay too… I am an avid Online Gamer – surprise, shock, horror!!! An older person playing computer games, never! I have been a gamer for many years! Green screens come to mind.
So, this is my update on what’s been happening since my last post back in June 2024. I could go into further details but most are not interested. As you know, I tell it how it is.
