Life can, at times, feel like a yo-yo – up and down. As someone else pulls the string, it all depends on the force behind it, how far it drops, and how fast the recovery is – up and down!

As we travel through this adventure we explore and discover. In our present moment, we have a memory. In these moments, is it something we feel or something not yet seen? Are we looking for knowledge?
We appear to be living in a somewhat different world. What is real? What is fake? In this day and age, it is becoming very different to know what the truth is about anything and everything.
As we navigate through our current world, ask yourself – What is it that you believe? Using all your knowledge gathered on your adventure, do you look at what and who came before you? What impressions do you have? What impressions have been left for you? Are these impressions just moments in time? Are these the ups and downs?

Thinking about your ancestors, be they your parents, grandparents, or even further back – Are you the keeper of knowledge or the giver? Does your documented “tree” show patterns?

How accurate is your tree? Have you escaped from the fake world – that is – copied records from another tree without checking that the tree you used was real or was it fake? Imagine if we were to create “fake” trees. Oh, sorry – that already happens. Doesn’t it? A fake tree to me, does not have any documentation cited and sourced. Some in this world do no research but troll trees and claim the data as if it were theirs. Copy and paste to make it too easy.
Living in a fake world causes havoc – no foundations – and it changes in an instant. The downside of the yo-yo – How to correct it? The upside – cite and source ALL the findings. When adding information online, I suggest making a notation to all records to combat this plagiarism. What are your thoughts? Please leave a comment below.
I do not wish to leave anyone on the down in this crazy world I refer to. It is not just in our ancestor research but everywhere we look. Why trust other sources – trust yourself. Here, is a question: I feel even mainstream media don’t address it – If there is such a labour shortage, where have all the people gone? Are they playing with their yo-yo?

Getting back up – first, breathe. Take stock – not just of our Ancestor hobby, but all we deal with every day. Take a break from social media. (It seems to be fake heaven, at present.) Fresh Air is good. If you are into meditation, then this is also a good up.
The ups and downs are here.
Are you prepared? The answer to this question should be YES.
