Another year is fast coming to an end. 2025 has been an interesting year, not just with the achievements here but globally.
Reflect.
At this time of the year, humans – yes us – look back and think what has been achieved and what does the future hold. Have you ever wondered if your ancestors did the same? Did they have a plan or did they just go where the wind took them? A few months ago, I celebrated my 100th blog. If you missed it, check out the listings in October 2025.
I’m not going to reflect too much on this year, since I covered the majority of it here. I did take a break to update the blog pages. I also wrote about the run up to this point with “Beyond 101”, “Convergence”, “Mysteries” and “Down Under with a Difference”. Each of the links to these, can be grabbed from the side of this blog.
Future.
Currently, my mind is racing with ideas. You don’t really want to know when I wrote this but if you ask, I will tell. I am planning where this blog will be heading in the New Year. There is a birthday to celebrate on 26 January so look out for that. Also, the regular postings will continue.
Moving Forward.
2026 will be a busy year. Another milestone event will be: 50 years since my own travel adventures commenced. This occurs in June. It is hoped that at least 20+ blog posts will occur throughout the year. The regular fortnightly postings will begin on Friday, 9 January 2026 at 6pm Australian time. Of course, this will be our summertime.
Announcement.
You will meet out new AI assistants on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, when AncestorFamily YouTube channel will be re-commenced. (This pic is not them.) Regular fortnightly content will occur. There will be a special third birthday celebration on Monday, 26 January hosted by the AI assistants. Announcements will be made via this blog. After the birthday event, the channel will focus on Australian content. It will commence with the basics from the start.
